Emily & Joe are married!
We celebrated these two on a beautiful summer day in July at a special location – a farm that has been owned by relatives since it was purchased in 1844. The Schaal Dairy farm was such a great and open location to house all the events of the day (including the cutest corndog & sno-cone stand!)
After two of the sweetest first looks (one with Emily & her dad and the other with Emily & Joe), the couple-to-be sat down to read their vows. Shortly after that and some wedding party photos, it was time to get married! This was at another special location! Emily’s parents, oldest brother and many other family members got married here and Emily’s & Joe’s day would be no exception.
The reception was filled with a delicious meal, some incredibly heart felt speeches (yes, tears over here) and lots of dancing with a special performance by Joe’s dad!
One of our favorite moments of the day was riding out to the wheat field at sunset with these two to enjoy some golden hour. We always love sneaking away during this time to not only get some stunning photos but to let our couple have a moment to breathe and just be with each other. The day can get busy and hectic really fast so taking a moment is so important and special.
A huge congratulations to Emily & Joe – we are SO happy for you!!
